BOO-tiful Halloween Projects - Pretty Spooky

Hello, hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It's great to see you here. :) We have a new challenge at Crafty ribbons challenge blog for you. The theme of our challenge is BOO-tiful Halloween Projects - Pretty Spooky. We want you to create something for Halloween - can be a card or something else. At Crafty ribbons they have so many fantastic Halloween ribbons and the DT was really lucky to play with some of them. Hop over to the Crafty ribbons challenge blog and check the fabby work from my teamies, they all did an excellent job! :)

And here's my creation ...

This was a plain white box which a decorated with lots of ribbons (they are all from Crafty ribbons) and some orange pearls from my stash. I also used Spellbinders circle and scalopped circle dies. I drew the bat myself on a piece of black cardstock, cut it out and glued it on the orange circle.

You can even win some of the ribbons from the Crafty ribbons Halloween collection by playing with us at this challenge. Here's what we have ready for one lucky winner ...

Aren't these ribbons just great?! If you want to win them, just participate in our challenge here. :) You have til 12 October to link your creation(s) to the challenge. Good luck!

Dress up + DT call

Another Wednesday and another challenge at MMCS blog. This week's theme is "dress up". And as usually you can win a nice prize by participating in the challenge. :) This week we are being sponsored by The poodles parlours and they are offering 4 digis to one lucky winner.

I made a tag for this challenge and it looks like this ...

I used the image from our sponsor and colored it with Promarkers. I stamped on the tag with Viva decor stamps. I made the flowers myself from some left over pieces of papers that I found in my stash and I put pearls in the middle. The little butterflies are made with the "Picture punch" craft punch.

We also have a DT call on the MMCS blog, so if you want to join, you can find all the details here.

I hope many of you will join the fun this week! :)

Hello, hello! Today (August 7) is a very special day. You're asking "Why"? Because it's my boyfriend's birthday. Yay! :D And because I want to do something nice for you on this special day as well, I thought I'd post a small candy on my blog. How does this sound? Good? I sure hope so. ;)

Here's what you can win ...

~ A pack of Viva decor - My paper world: Flower embellishments clear stamps,
~ a scrapbook kit - decoration set,
~ page panel "A day at the beach" by Cock-a-doodle design,
~ Paper Bliss' adhesive embellishments,
~ pearls on string,
~ some doily laces,
~ some decorative leaves.

Wondering what you have to do to have the chance to win these goodies? Just follow these simple rules ...

1. You must put a picture of my candy on your blog (sidebar) with the link back to my blog. (I will check!)
2. Leave your name with Mr. Linky - comments won't count though feel free to leave a comment too. :) (Please only enter once.)

3. OPTIONAL - this does NOT increase your chances of winning the candy!
I'd love you to become a follower of my blog (if you don't follow me already). But it's not a must. Only follow me if you like my blog, not just because of my candy.

If Mr. Linky is missing/not working for some reason, let me know (leave me a comment) and I'll add you myself. But be sure to leave me the link to your blog in your comment.

Boys and girls

Bye bye t-shirts and welcome long-sleeved tops. Yes, autumn is definitely here. It has been knocking on the door for a while, but I guess it decided to stop waiting for somebody to open the door and just came through the side entrance. ;) And now is here ... And it brought rain, wind and colder days. Ah well, I guess autumn has its charms too; I'll be nice to see all the colorful leaves on the trees and I'm looking forward to eating some chestnut too. ;)

This week at My mum's craft shop blog we have a nice new challenge for you. This week's theme is "Boys and girls" and we are being sponsored by Pollycraft digi stamps; they are giving 4 digi images to the lucky winner. :). You can either make something for a boy or girl or you can just use boys/girls on your products. Whatever you prefer. :) I made a tag/card for my aunt's birthday.

I used the lovely image from Polly craft and colored it with Promarkers. All the DPs are from Provo Craft. The little butterfly is a clear stamp from Folia and the Happy birthday stamp is from G studio. The big flower is from my stash.

I hope many of you will come play with us this week. :)

Before I end this post, I want to remind you of my candy that you can find here. You have til September 26 to enter. And after that I already have some more goodies to offer you. ;)

Hugs to all of you!

Anything goes

A new challenge just started at Crafty ribbons blog. And this time we have a theme that (I think) everybody loves - anything goes. You know what that means, right? You can do ANYTHING you want for this challenge. We would love if you used some ribbons on your project (esp. if they are from Crafty ribbons), but it's NOT a must to use ribbons on your project.

I made 2 things for this week's challenge: a little box and a bookmark.

I made this card from the white cardstock. I colored one side on the cardstock with a blue ink and then I stamped over it with Stampabilities Single snowflake stamp. From the Christmas Gingerbread tags ribbon from Crafty ribbons I cut two tags and glued them on the box. With the punch I also made some snowflakes. In the middle of each snowflake I put a crystal from my stash. The Happy Christmas is also a ribbon from Crafty ribbons. This one you can find here.

At home I had this metal bookmark that used to have a charm, which unfortunately got lost some time ago. And as I thought it looked kinda boring without a charm, I decided to do something about it. I went through my bead boxes and I found this lovely purple flower bead. I thought it was perfect for what I had in mind. I also added some other beads in matching colours and at the top I made a small bow using a piece of ribbon from Crafty ribbons. I'm happy with the result. :)

I am really happy to be working with such talented ladies. Really, they are so full of ideas and their creations are wonderful. Do jump over to Crafty ribbons challenge blog and check out their work as well. You definitely won't regret it! :) And feel free to enter our challenge too. We're looking forward to seeing all your lovely creations.

I wish you all a wonderful day! Hugs!

Happy birthday

Happy birthday, to you, happy birthday to you ... It's good you only read these words and not actually heard me singing. lol No, I don't know anybody who would have birthday today. The reason I sarted with these words is that we have a "happy birthday" challenge for you at MMCS challenges blog. Easy one, huh? ;) I hope many of you will join the fun and play with us. :) We also have a sponsor this week ... We are sponsored by Jens digis

Here's the card I made for this challenge ...

This card was made on request. It's for one little girl who just celebrated her birthday at the weekend. :) I used the sweet Tilda with peony stamp and I colored the image with Promarkers. I just printed the sentiment - it's in Slovenian and it means "Alja (that's the girl's name), happy birthday!". :) The ribbons are from Crafty ribbons and the flowers are from my stash. All the papers are from Provo Craft. I also used Tim Holtz's distress ink and my craft punch. I like these little butterflies - they come out when you punch your paper. :)

Please hop over to MMCS blog to see all the fabby cards my teammies made for this challenge. And of course you are invited to play with us. ;) We can't wait to see your creations. Hugs!

Little winter birdie again

Hello everybody! How is your week so far? Mine is great so far. :) Days are just flying by and I really can't complain that I am bored. On the contrary, I actually wish my day had more than just 24 hours. Do you know this feeling?

I'm sorry because once again I'm behind with visiting your blogs and commenting on your creations. I was going to do it this morning, but I was without internet connection. :S So I promise I will do some blog hopping tomorrow and will visit your blogs then.

I managed to do another Christmas card today - yay for me. lol I used the lovely winter birdie stamp from Sliekje - visit her blog here, she is very talented and very nice too, because she's sharing her digi images for free with everybody. This birdie is definitely one of my favourites and I just know I will use it on many Christmas cards this year. ;)

I wanted to make a card where I wouldn't use traditional colours - green, red, silver and gold. I'm a rebel, I wanted to use some pink! lol Since I didn't have any pink Christmas paper, I made one myself. I colored the white sheet of paper with Tim Holtz's Spun sugar distress ink and then stamped over it with Single snowlake rubber stamps from Stampabilities. The Christmas papers were a gift in one craft magazine. The ribbons are from Crafty ribbon and the snowflakes were made with my punch. I colored the image with Promarkers. I also used Spelbinders' circle and scalloped circle dies for this project.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Crop Stop: Spellbinders
Oldie but a goodie: Christmas in September
Digi design: Anything goes

Little winter birdie

Hello everybody. It's Friday again. Don't you just love it when the week comes to an end and you know you have the whole weekend ahead of you to do whatever you want? I do. :P

Today I want to show you another Christmas card I made. I must get stuff together and make more, more, more of Christmas cards.

I found this image a a short while ago at this blog. Isn't it cute? This lady is very sweet and she is sharing all those adorable digi stamps (there are LOTS of them) with people for free. So if you have a moment, I'm sure she would appreciate if you stopped by and give her some feedback on her work. :) I colored the image with Promarkers. All the DP are from Provo Craft and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. The sentiment says "happy holidays" and I just printed that from Word. I used the snowflake punch for the snowflakes and I put some crystals from my stash.

Speaking about Christmas cards and all that, I want to remind you that we still have a "Festive cheer in September" challenge running at Crafty Ribbons challenge blog. Feel free to link your festive creations in the challenge. You have a chance to win some yummy ribbons as a prize.

Lots of layers

Heya! I'm here again. :) Today I'm going to show you the card I made for this week's challenge at MMCS blog. This week's theme is "Lots of layers". Perfect challenge for me as I always like to add tons of layers on my card. lol This week we are sponsored by The paper shelter and they are giving the lucky winner 20$ to spend in their store. They have the cutest digi stamps so I'm sure you will find something you like in their store. :) I used their "The final touch" stamp which you can get here.

All the DP I used are from Provo Craft. I colored the image with Promarkers and Boreado markers. The lime green ribbon is from my stash and the other two ribbons are from Crafty ribbons. I really like their ribbons, especially the polka dot ones. :)

So much from me today. Have a nice day ! Hugs!

On the wings of a butterfly

Yay, it's Friday already! Can you believe it? And I know I have a whole weekend of doing "nothing" (meaning nothing stressfull) in front of me. I'll have all the time to do some crafting. It doesn't get much better than this, does it? ;)

Today I want to show you a card I made for a friend of mine. She helped me with something and in return I got her some chocolates and I made this card.

She's a designer so I wanted my "thank you" card to be a bit different. As you can see I did a lot of stamping on this card. For my main image I chose the fab butterfly stamp from Close to my heart "Find your style" set. I absolutely love this image. Or I should beeter say - I love the whole set. lol So Rosie, if you are by any chance reading this, THANK YOU again for such a great surprise! In the background I stamped with Viva decor - My paper world: Flower embellishments clear stamps (the same stamps you can win in my candy!). The papers are from K&C. I made the flowers myself. The doily was originally white, but I colored it with TH Brushed corduroy distress ink (I also inked the edges with this ink). I wanted to add some bling on the butterfly - and I did this with diamond Stickles - I LOVE stickles. I made distressed edges with my scissors. I also used some ribbon and lace from my stash.

So, what do you think of this card?

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Crop Stop: Sketch (great sketch!)
Paper Play: Make your own flowers
Hooked on craft: Things with wings
Scrapbook sisters: Anything goes
Die cuttin' divas: Fall colors
Do you stack up: Friendly critters
Bearly mine: Flowers, flowers, flowers

Festive cheer in September

Today is the day ... It's here, our first challenge at Crafty Ribbons blog. Yay! How exciting is this?! I hope you will come and play with us. We all know it's never too early to start making Christmas cards and we also know that you can never have too many of them, that's why our first challenge is "Festive cheer in September". Yup, that's right, we want to see some Christmas cards/products. And as much as we'd like to see some fabby ribbons from Crafty Ribbons, it's not a must to use ribbon on your project. You have 2 weeks to enter your project.

Of course we have a prize for you too. What is it, you may ask? Well, the lucky winner will receive a selection of yummy Christmas bauble ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

Aren't these ribbons just gorgeous? And they are perfect for all the upcoming Christmas projects you'll be working on. :)

For this challenge I made a Christmas card. I really need to stock up! I used the lovely Mr. Snowman image from Heather Ellis which I colored with Promarkers. The DP I used are from Provo Craft and the doily is from my stash. I also used the polka dot ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. I made the snowflakes with a punch and the crystals I used are from my stash.

So much from me today. I really hope you will stop by the Crafty Ribbons challenge blog and play with us at our very first challenge. Come on, you know you want to. ;) He he. Hugs to all of you.
