A card in earth tones

Hello there! :) I hope you've been enjoying your week so far. Just a couple of days more and the weekend will be here. Do you have any plans? I think I will be pretty busy with some work stuff, but if I have some free time and if the weather is nice, I hope to go on a short trip somewhere. We'll see.

Today I want to show you another card that I made.

I coloured the adorable Brittany stamp from Art by MiRan collection that is available and Whimsy stamps store. Isn't she cute?

I coloured her with Promarkers and I added some glitter glue on her flower. I added some glitter glue on the petals of the paper flowers, but it's a bit hard to see in the picture.

The Butterfly border die is from Whimsy too. Lace and ribbon came from Crafty ribbons and all the other embellishments and papers came from my stash.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

Pinky pink

Hey hey! How are you doing? Me and my sweetie bought Wii today. We don't really exercise much (especially not me), so I hope this will get us "exercising" at least a little bit. Ok, ok, I know this is still FAR from the real exercise, but I think this is still better than just sitting behind the computer the whole afternoon. Do you have Wii or have you ever played it? If yes, do (did) you like it?

Today I'd like to show you a card that I just made.

I don't think it gets much girlier that this, does it? ;) So much pink, butterflies, flowers and bling. All of my favourite things. He he.

The image is from The greeting farm and I coloured it with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I also added some glitter glue to parts of Anya's dress. The ribbons are all from Crafty ribbons and the other embellishments came from my stash. Papers are from my stash as well. I used dies from Joy crafts, Spellbinders and Whimsy stamps.

Before I go I'd also like totell you about the new "Handmade ribbons" that are available at Crafty ribbons store.

They are awesome and you can find them here,

So much from me today. Have a wonderful week!
Hugs! xx

First Christmas card of 2015

Hey, hey! How are you? I hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far. We had a beautiful and a pretty warm (for this time of year) day yesterday so me and my sweetie decided to go on a one-day trip to one of the bigger cities here. It was wonderful!!! I had an amazing time, but I was pretty tired after the whole day of walking around. But it was definitely worth it! :) If tomorrow is not raining we might go to another trip to the other side of the country. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Today I'm staying in and I finally finished a card I started working on a couple of days ago; I'm a very slow crafter. lol I was inspired by this mood board that was posted on the Stempelglede blog. I chose some colours from the board and used them on my card (white, grey-ish, white, brown-ish and even a touch of pink).

Also, I don't know why, but most of the pictures on the board reminds me of winter and my first association when I think of winter is Christmas. So I went and made a Christmas card - first one this year.

I used the gorgeous angel stamp from Stempelglede. I think it's great for making vintage Christmas cards. I usually make square cards, but I wanted to do something a bit different this time so I made a rectangle card. All of the papers came from my stash. The music notes paper is actually from back in the days when I was still going to music school - and let me tell you, this was maaaaaaaany years ago. Darn, I'm getting old. lol Lace, doily, pins, snowflakes, bling, feathers and bead trims came from my stash. I sprinkeled the edges of the image with frantage.

I'm not sure if you can tell, but this card is really sparkly in real life. Snowflakes are covered with glitters and then there are all the sequins and gems as well.

Those hearts I used at the center of the snowflakes have been in my stash for ages. But I knew they would come handy one day. :)

I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Stempelglede: Inspiration photo

Black and white

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I'm enjoying my day off. :) It's lovely outside so I think I will go for a short walk after lunch - I need to go to the post office anyways.

A new challenge just started at Crafty ribbons and this forthnight we want to see your black and white creations. I have to admit this was a bit out of my comfort zone. While I do like black and white combination, I like a splash a colour with it too. So sticking to only those two colours was pretty hard for me. Luckily at least I had some black and white papers in my stash. I didn't want to make a black and white card, so I decided to make a box in those colours instead. And this is what I came up with.

See gorgeous laces I used on this project? It's from Crafty ribbons. One is Clermont cotton lace and the other one is not in the store yet. So consider this a sneak peek. ;) Flowers, bead string and bling came from my stash. The sentiment in an ornated frame is a gorgeous new stamp from Family forever stamp set that is available at Whimsy store. I covered the sentiment with glitter glue.

I made this butterfly with silicone mold and mod melt.

I can't wait to see your black and white creations - I hope you will come play with us! :)
Have a wonderful day! xx

I'd like to enter my box to the following challenges:
Allsorts: Any occassion except birthday

She's a cutie, isn't she? And she could be used for sooooo many different occassions. :) I coloured her with distress inks.

As you can see I used lots of flowers and other embellishments (doily, pearls and pearl string) on my card. They all came from my stash. And so did the papers. Just another girly card

Hey there! We're already in the middle of the week - yay! :) Me and my sweetie were thinking about going on a nice trip on Saturday, but if the weather forecast for the next two days is correct (heavy snowing) I think we'll just stay in. We'll see. Do you have any snow where you live?

Today I want to show you a card that I made with the cute Swishy skirt stamp from Time 4 tea collection that is available in the Whimsy stamps store.

I decided to use pink and blue colour combination for a change. I like these colours together, but I don't use this combination often. I coloured the image with distress inks.

I've had the papers I used on this card in my stash for a looooong time and I'm glad I finally got to use them. I used ribbon and a new lace from Crafty ribbons and all the other embellishments came from my stash.

So, that's it for today. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the rest of the week! :) Hugs! xx

A friend

Hey hey! Do you have any snow where you live? We got quite a lot of snow on Friday, but it was really wet so it wasn't nice walking around in that weather. Luckily I was able to stay in most of the day. Then yesterday we had a lovely sunny day (though still very cold), but about one hour ago it started snowing again. I hope it will stop soon or at least that the snow won't stick to the roads, because if it does it won't be much "fun" driving to work tomorrow.

Anyways, enough about that. I'm sure you didn't come here to read my ranting about the weather. ;) Let me rather show you a card I made the other day ...

I made this card I while ago, but haven't posted it on here yet. I was really please with how it turned out. I really like that bird stamp. It's from CTMH stamp set and so is the sentiment. The bird has some words written on it and I used glitter glue on those. I used glitter glue on the word "friend" as well. This image below will hopefully give you an idea how sparkly this really is.

The design papers I used on this card are from Maja design. And that piece of white cardstock with some writting on it is just a piece of white cardstock on which I stamped with Stampabilities stamp. All of the embellishments came from my stash. I raised the image on foam pads to give the card some extra dimension.

I hope you've been having a wonderful weekend!
Hugs! xx
