Mini pizza box

Hello my crafty friends!  How was your weekend? I hope you had a lovely time! We visited  my hubby's parents on Saturday morning and then we spend the rest of the day at home, where it was cool (thank god for air conditioner). In the evening my parents stopped by - they went to Ikea and brought us some things as well. As you can imagine we were spending Sunday putting those things together. Well, my hubby did while I was taking care of our sweet little girl. :) When my baby was sleeping I managed to do a little bit of crafting and I finally managed to finish this mini pica box. It's a project that normally doesn't take much time, but this one took me a whole week (if not even longer). Oh well, at least I managed to finish it, right?

Here's what it looks like.

I used lots of elements from the Nature collage kit from Artsy collage. The utterfl, flowers and sentiment all came from that kit and I just cut them out with my scissors. The dark blue paper is from the same kit as well. I decorated the lid with some pearls, lace and ric rac ribbon from Crafty ribbons. Decorative border was done with my craft punch and the leaves behing the flowers were made with Cottage Cutz die (leafy branch small).

And this is the inside of the box. As you can see I created a small pocket on the inside of the lid. In the pocket I put a tag that I cut from the Nature collage kit. I decorated the pocket with CottageCutz border die.

Well, this is it from me today. Have a wonderful week! Bye bye! xx

Anya shops

Hello everybody! I'm back again. :) I don't know about you, but when I am giving away gifts I like to wrap them nicely and also put them in a pretty gift bag. Sometimes I will go and buy a gift bag in the store, but usually I like to make my own, so I can personalize it and make it match the gift that's inside. This time I want to share with you one of such gift bag.

Again I played with a stamp from The Greeting Farm and this time I chose "Anya shops". It's such a cute image and perfect for decorating a gift bag with. :)

This started as a plain brown lunch bag and then I just used some papers and embellishments from my stash to decorate it.

I cut the image out with my scissors and then used some foam pads in the back for some extra dimension.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.

I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

I would like to enter my bag to the following challenges:
Deep ocean: Metal or wood (I used metal - eyelets)
Craftin desert divas: Red, white, blue

Perk up

Hello my crafty friends! How are you doing? I hope everything is fine with you. I've been rather busy with my little one, but I managed to squeeze in a little bit of crafting time as well. And today I want to show you one of the cards I made. I played with some cute TGF stamps and my washi tapes again and here's what I came up with - a bright and fun summer card.

I used 2 different stamps sets from TGF to make this card - Perk up and For you Anya. Colouring was done with Promarkers and pencils. While I was making this card I came to the conclusion that I need to invest in rectangle dies. What a pain it was to cut out this "window". *sigh* To decorate the card I used some sequins. Embossing was done with Cuttlebug's folder. I didn't use any design paper, just 2 different washi tapes.

I raised the stamped images on foam pads for some extra dimension.

So much from me today. See you again soon. :)

Hugs! xx

Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolli, lolli, lolli

Hey my sweet friends! Now that you have the Lollipop song stuck in your head I can show you what I made.

It's a paper lollipop!!! And a shaker one too!!! Weeee!!!! Lol Sorry, I think I lost it for a moment, but I think this is so much fun!!! :D I'm sure you've seen these lollipops around the Blogland before. I've been meaning to make one of these for ages, but haven't gotten around to do it til now. And now I think I'm hooked. I had so much fun making this! Never mind the Lollipop song that was stuck in my head the whole time I was making the lolli. Lol

I started with a strip of a 12x12 paper to make a rosette. Then I used a doily in the back and one of the die cuts, some pearls and a micro dot ribbon from Crafty ribbons to decorate the front. Most of the paper lollipops I've seen online used paper straws, but I didn't have any at home and couldn't find any in the store, so I just used a bbq stick that I covered with gesso. I think that works well too.

The adorable kitty is a TGF stamp and is part of the Mini-remix Happy set. I did the colouring with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I was originally planning to use clear micro beads for the shaker, but guess what ... I didn't have any at home. It was my mum who gave me the idea to use those teeny tiny beads that I have among my jewelry making supplies instead. Thanks mum! :) I'm glad I found some use for those after all this time. :)

Well, so much from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

All about the boys

Hello everybody! A new challenge just started at The Greeting Farm. This month the theme is "All about the boys". I always find it heard to make a card for a boy, because I can't use flowers, lace, butterflies etc. on it. Here's what I made ...

I used the cute Birthday boy digi stamp as my main image and around it I stamped some stars that came with the Mega-mini Amazing stamp set. I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. To embellish the card a little bit I used some twine that I had in my stash.

I hope you'll come play with us this month!
Hugs! xx
